Joining an event

Scan the event's QR code with your iPhone camera, or tap the invite link. Yesterday opens straight away as an App Clip, with nothing to download, so you can type your name and start. If you have the Yesterday app, it opens there instead; you can also tap Join in the app and enter the code. One code joins the camera and any voice or video messages.

If it says the event is full, the host can add more guests in the event's settings.

Photos

• When will I see the photos? At the reveal time the host chose. Until then nobody can see them, including the host.
• I took photos without signal. They're saved on your phone and upload automatically once you're back online. If you joined without the app, keep Yesterday open until it says your shots have uploaded.
• I want to remove a photo. Open it and delete it. You'll get the shot back.
• Can I save photos? Yes, after the reveal: open a photo and use Save or Share.

Voice and video messages

• Each guest can leave one message of 10 to 60 seconds. Recording again replaces your earlier one.
• The host sees who has recorded straight away, and the messages play once recording closes.

Hosting

• Change the name, cover or end time: open the event and tap the gear icon.
• Add a camera, voice or video messages later: tap + next to Invite on the event screen.
• More guests: open the feature's settings, go to Participants and add a pack of guests.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases are made through Apple. If a purchase went through but the extra guests didn't appear, open the app again while connected and it will finish applying it. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your account

To delete your account, go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This deletes every event you host along with its photos and recordings. See our Privacy Policy for more.
